LLL Meeting - Growing Nurslings

How is your nursing relationship changing as your baby moves towards (or through) toddlerhood? Are you thinking about starting solids? Wondering about how best to care for your own nutritional needs as a nursing mother? Dealing with a picky toddler or preschooler? Tuesday's morning meeting will be all about introducing first foods and encouraging nutritious eating as our children grow. Come with questions or experiences to share. We are thrilled to be able to show a short video on the subject that we made in collaboration with a video production class at Saint Mary's College--you'll see some familiar faces!! As always, we will have time for any breastfeeding questions, concerns, and successes you'd like to share. Join us Tuesday, August 14 at 7 pm, Tutt Branch library to talk about making it all work. Perhaps you are about to return to work outside the home and need some tips on how to make the transition. Perhaps you are already at work and can share your tips and tricks of how to fit everything into the day. If you are a stay at home mom, how to you make it work?  How do you keep from feeling isolated at home? Come and share your questions and expertise.  Also don't forget about the Live, Love, Latch Picnic on Saturday, August 18 from 11-1, with our photo fundraiser at the picnic. -- 

Photo Fundraiser at Live, Love, Latch Picnic

Come to the Live, Love, Latch picnic at Potowatami Park, Pavilion 1, on Saturday, August 18 from 11am-1 pm.  Shanna Hendrickson will be there to take professional photos of your family, great for holiday cards!  One professional photo for $10, three photos for $25.  Shanna donates all proceeds to our group.  This enables us to keep our group active in the area and allows us to pay our area dues each year.

LLL - Playgroup!

We are looking forward to our monthly playgroup coming up at Parkovash Park - a quiet little park with room for parents to walk around with their wee ones snuggled, toddlers to run, climb, and swing, and nice shady spots for babies and parents to sit and visit. Come on out and join us--no baby is too young for a mama to benefit from a playgroup! (Even the ones still in utero!) Robin will be waiting to welcome you.
