We have a new location for the monthly evening La Leche League meeting.
We will now be meeting at the St Monica Room in St Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Enter at the first floor main entrance and ask at the information desk for directions to the room.

Dear mothers and friends, In consideration of the state recommendations and the response of many of the public spaces, including some of those in which we hold meetings, La Leche League of South Bend has decided to postpone our regular in-person meetings. We will continue to carefully monitor the situation in our area and continue meetings when it seems possible and safe for you and your families. We are taking this situation seriously and want to still be able to help mothers with breastfeeding questions. Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
