Adjusting to life with Baby

Image
Becoming a mother is a powerful experience with many emotions and challenges we could not have foreseen. And then there's the day-to-day life of learning your baby's signals, needs, and routines, not to mention trying to maintain relationships and at least some basic hygiene;)  This coming Tuesday we'll be talking about the benefits of breastfeeding, as well as those tricky first weeks (months?) adjusting to life with baby.  We're really excited about starting this additional monthly meeting at the Women's Care Center on the 4th Tuesday of the month, and hope you'll come out to help us make it a success! As always, we will have room for your breastfeeding questions, concerns, and successes. See you on: Tuesday, May 22 at 10am Women's Care Center 360 N. Notre Dame Ave. (where it intersects with La Salle Ave.) South Bend, Indiana 46617

Summer is almost upon us--does anyone have plans for a roadtrip? Airplane journey? Beach visit? All of these summer adventures bring new challenges when we're attempting them with babies and toddlers. Tuesday's meeting will be a chance for us to share tips and tricks for traveling and fun in the sun with wee ones, as well as a chance to share our favorite local summer outings and daytrips! Of course we will always have time for concerns you might have and insights you'd like to share, along with general chatting, support, and  library perusal. Looking forward to seeing you Tuesday, May 15 at 10am Sunnyside Presbyterian Church 115 S. Frances St. South Bend, IN 46617

La Leche League philospophy states: "Breast milk is the superior infant food". What would your little one say to you about what they like about breastfeeding? What do you like best about breastfeeding? What do you find most difficult? Come to our evening meeting Tuesday, May 8 at 7 pm, River Park Branch library and receive a "Mother's Day" card from your baby.
