Adjusting to life with Baby

Becoming a mother is a powerful experience with many emotions and challenges we could not have foreseen. And then there's the day-to-day life of learning your baby's signals, needs, and routines, not to mention trying to maintain relationships and at least some basic hygiene;)  This coming Tuesday we'll be talking about the benefits of breastfeeding, as well as those tricky first weeks (months?) adjusting to life with baby. 

We're really excited about starting this additional monthly meeting at the Women's Care Center on the 4th Tuesday of the month, and hope you'll come out to help us make it a success!
As always, we will have room for your breastfeeding questions, concerns, and successes.

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
