Art Beat 2009 Update

If you didn't make it downtown this past Saturday for Art Beat mark it on your calendar for next year!
We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. Not only was our booth pretty popular but we were surrounded by talented artists selling a large variety of wares. The nearby stage was busy with eclectic music and skilled performers. We all had so much fun and made many notes for next year;)

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
