Holiday Party!

We hope you'll join us for this month's morning meeting--our annual Holiday Party! Mamas, nursing and weaned babies and children are all welcome to visit, eat, and play. Leaders and big kids will help us make art projects suitable for eating and/or gifting. We will even have a project for the tiniest babies among us.

There will be La Leche Leaders and experienced Mamas aplenty, ready to discuss breastfeeding questions and concerns as well.

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
