La Leche League of South Bend

It'll be the 3rd of July, but that doesn't preclude us from visiting at the park, does it? Let's gather and commiserate about what these nightly fireworks are doing to our children's sleep routines;) We'll be at Parkovash Park as usual, ( http://sbpark.org/parks/parkovash-park/ ) between 10-12. This month's La Leche League morning meeting topic is Babywearing! What do you love about wearing your baby or toddler? What type of carrier have you always wanted to try? Is there a tricky back or side carry you need demonstrated? Then this meeting is for you! And for the babywearing pros among us, this is an opportunity to share the love and spread our wisdom:) Please bring your carriers and try ours! We'll have ring slings, pouches, Mobys, woven wraps, ergos, and more. La Leche League philospohy states: "Mothering through breastfeeding is the most natural and effective way of understanding and satisfying the needs of the baby".  How has this worked for you?    What happens when your baby is fussy or high needs?  Come share your frustrations and suggestions on how to mother a high needs baby.  As always, bring along any other breastfeeding questions you have to our meeting Tuesday, June 12, 7 pm at River Park Branch Library.

Come on out for the 1st Tuesday of the month La Leche League playgroup! We'll be at Parkovash Park between 10 and noon on Tuesday, June 5th.  We hope you'll join us for some informal chat time for us and play time for kiddos.
