La Leche League philospohy states: "Mothering through breastfeeding is the most natural and effective way of understanding and satisfying the needs of the baby".  How has this worked for you? 
 
What happens when your baby is fussy or high needs?  Come share your frustrations and suggestions on how to mother a high needs baby.  As always, bring along any other breastfeeding questions you have to our meeting Tuesday, June 12, 7 pm at River Park Branch Library.

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
