On Tuesday La Leche League will be meeting at the Women's Care Center where Tama will be ready to talk about "Back to School". Even if you only have one tiny baby, this time of year may have unique challenges with schedule changes in the household and in our college town. We can share coping strategies as well as talk about the new opportunities in our community at this time of year. 

And we always make space for any other breastfeeding concerns or questions you may have!

Tomorrow, Saturday August 25 is a wonderful local arts festival downtown--ArtBeat. We hope you'll stop by the Lactation Station that the Saint Joseph County Breastfeeding Coalition is sponsoring for a cool cup of water and comfy place to nurse and visit! We'll be at Scene D booth D51 between 11-5.

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
