LLL Playgroup!

What a great turn-out we had last month for the La Leche League playgroup! There were mamas walking around the park with their wee ones snuggled in slings, toddlers running and climbing, and nice shady spots for babies and mamas to sit and visit. 
We'll be back at Parkovash Park (http://sbpark.org/parks/parkovash-park/) between 10 and noon this Tuesday, June 4. Come on out and join us--no baby is too young for a mama to benefit from a playgroup! (Even the ones still inutero!)

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
