LLL Playgroup & WBW Picnic!

This Tuesday we'll again gather at Parkovash Park for our monthly playgroup, where there is room for toddlers to run, climb, and swing, and nice shady spots for babies and mamas to sit and visit. Come on out and join us--no baby is too young for a mama to benefit from a playgroup--even the ones still inutero! Our new playgroup hosts, Sarah and her little one Alice, will be there to greet friends, old and new!

Also, tomorrow, August 2, is the World Breastfeeding Week picnic sponsored by the St. Joseph County Breastfeeding Coalition! Join other breastfeeding families and advocates at Potawatomi Park between 11-1.

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
