"Breastfeeding and Your Baby's Brain"

 There are numerous benefits to breastfeeding, but many people are not aware of the role that breast milk can play in enhancing brain development in infants. This session covers some basics about brain development as well as providing information on the specific advantages for both parents and infants that breastfeeding and breast milk offer. Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
