We are back at River Park Branch Library on Tuesday, January 12 at 7 p.m. to discuss fussy babies.  Have you found any tips to soothe a baby? How has breastfeeding helped in your mothering experience?  How do you deal with a "high needs" baby?  Come share your ideas, thoughts and questions with baby in tow.

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
