LLL Playgroup!

Did you make a New Year's Resolution to spend more time with supportive
Mamas? Then you're in luck--the La Leche League playgroup is this week! Dawn
and little Elli will be ready to greet you on Tuesday at the Main Library
in downtown South Bend--we have reserved the Humphrey's room in the
basement where there is plenty of room for crawlers to crawl, big kids to
play, and mamas and babies to cuddle, nurse, and chat. Feel free to bring
toys to share or pop upstairs to borrow books and toys for the morning! And
those of you with tiny babes or babes still in utero, please know that this
playgroup is for you too! Support from other mothers is what we're all
about:)

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
