LLL Mtg.- Fussy Babies - Myths and Misconceptions

Join us Tuesday June 21 at 10 am at Sunnyside Presbyterian Church to discuss fussy babies, tips to deal with fussiness and myths and misconceptions related to breastfeeding. Bring baby along with your questions and ideas. Expectant women welcome.

Beautiful Baby Picture Contest
All babies (breast or bottle fed) under 2 years old are eligible.
Photos entries must be submitted to sjcbeautifulbaby@aol.com 
Entries must be submitted by Tuesday June 28th. Please include your name, contact number and baby's first name with submission. Photos will be on display at the lactation station at the week of the 4H fair.
Winners will be notified the week of July 10. Prizes will be awarded at the Picnic in the Park event August 27th.
This is a fundraiser for the coalition. Votes are $1,00 each or 6 for $5.00

Nursing Rooms at Shedd Aquarium

After some renovations at Shedd Aquarium they now offers a nursing room. Until recently the nursing room was designated on the maps and at the door with a logo of a bottle. One of our local mothers was one of many who contacted the directors of the aquarium and happily they are in the process of changing the bottle logos to the international breastfeeding logo: Shedd Aquarium is located in Chicago and has regular free community days.
