We are a community of mothers helping mothers as we explore all topics related to breastfeeding; the good, the bad and the ugly! So whether you are pregnant and looking for information, a new mother struggling to learn the art of breastfeeding or an experienced mother seeking support and camaraderie, we are here to help give information and support.
We have three informal meetings a month and one playgroup, all are free and open to all women and their young children.
Also, in 2 weeks is the Indiana LLL Conference in Indy!
Early Bird Pricing has been extended through Septmeber 6th, the day after Labor Day! If you were worried about missing the deadline, worry no more. You still have time to register at the lowest rate!
If you're concerned about entertaining toddlers in the room throughout the event, know that we will have four older LLL girls ready and willing to keep littles occupied. We'll have a "children's table" near the back of the room with crayons and coloring pages and a few toys. In the afternoon, during the round table discussions, volunteers will have a Mo Willems themed story and activity time. And don't forget to take advantage of the longer than average lunch break to get outside, watch the paddle boats, and run around.
Exhibitors include LuLaRoe, Norwex, Jamberry, Usborne Books, and the Mother's Milk Bank.
There will be lots of fantastic items in the Silent Auction as well, including passes to the Indianapolis Children's museum, cloth diapers, a boppie, and a $50 gift certificate for nursing wear.
And don't forget about the speakers. Hearing a Founding Mother speak doesn't happen every day!
