We are a community of mothers helping mothers as we explore all topics related to breastfeeding; the good, the bad and the ugly! So whether you are pregnant and looking for information, a new mother struggling to learn the art of breastfeeding or an experienced mother seeking support and camaraderie, we are here to help give information and support.
We have three informal meetings a month and one playgroup, all are free and open to all women and their young children.
How is your nursing relationship changing as your baby moves towards (or through) toddlerhood? At next week's morning meeting we'll chat about nursing our babies into toddlerhood, and all the amusing and at times frustrating things that go with it!
-Do you have thoughts about how setting limits with gentle discipline fit in to your current (and future!) nursing relationship?
-Are you curious about the weaning process--how to be gentle, respectful and gradual?
-Are you thinking about getting pregnant again but aren't sure whether you should wean first?
-Wondering about nursing through pregnancy and continuing to tandem nurse once the new baby is here?
If you are thinking about any of these issues, or have experiences to share, please join us at the next LLL morning meeting! And even if these topics aren't relevant to you right now, come enjoy the camaraderie, commiseration and support of other nursing mamas.
And we always make space for any other breastfeeding concerns or questions you may have! See you Tuesday, December 20, 10am Sunnyside Presbyterian Church 115 S. Frances St. South Bend, IN 46617
**Because of winter travelling, none of our local leaders will be available on the 4th Tuesday of the month for our regular 10:15 am meeting at the Harris Branch Library in Granger. We will resume the 4th Tuesday meeting on Tuesday, January 24th to discuss Birth and Early Days! Thank you for your understanding. You are always welcome to email us at email@example.com or to text/call us at 574-334-7624. Happy Holidays!**
