Although it's hard to believe today, summer is almost upon us--does anyone have plans for a beach visit? Roadtrip? Airplane journey? Looking for summer activities right here in Michiana to enjoy with your babies and toddlers?  Summer adventures can bring new challenges when we're attempting them with our nurslings. Tuesday's meeting will be a chance for us to share tips and ideas about traveling and fun in the sun with wee ones.  Of course we will always have tim e for concerns you might have and insights you'd like to share, along with general chatting, support, and  library perusal. Have a baby sling and not sure how to use it? This Monday the 18th at 10:30 we will be meeting at the River Park Branch Library meeting room for demonstrations and help with this sometimes complicated art. We're still waiting for confirmation on the room but we have a back up in case we are rejected, so keep a look out for any changes posted on the blog. Bring your own sling or try some of the other types that will be there. If you have experience in baby wearing, even if it's only one kind of carrier, please consider joining us to share your techniques:) *UPDATE* 1/14/10 The River Park Library room has been confirmed.
